Managed Print Services- or MPS as it is most commonly referred to- is a comprehensive, bundled solution that provides convenient, reliable output to a company's users.

A true Managed Print Services solution offering  requires the service provider to take primary responsibility (which typically involves fleet ownership) for meeting the customer's office appliance designed to easily manage an organization's network printing. It can offload the print traffic from the main backbone of the network and make print queue creation and driver management simple. Basically, it is an inexpensive option to the traditional PC-based print server.
